TRICK OR TREAT BONITA
Trick or Treat Bonita was started in 2023 by Zach Smith of Ceremony Brewing with one simple goal: to make Bonita Springs feel like the classic trick-or-treat neighborhood families remember growing up in. With our beautiful, walkable downtown, the perfect setting was already here for families to enjoy Halloween close to home. There’s no reason for Bonita families to leave town to find that experience when we have everything we need right here in our own community.
What began as a fun and safe local event quickly grew into something much bigger. In 2026, Zach partnered with the Bonita Springs Downtown Alliance (BSDA), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, to help expand the event’s reach and continue enhancing the experience for years to come.

What started as a completely free community event has continued to grow each year. As attendance has increased, so has the need for additional safety measures to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. This includes hiring the Lee County Sheriff's Office for security, as well as working toward future road closures to better protect families and pedestrians during the event. To make these important safety improvements possible while keeping the event accessible to the community, we rely on the support of local sponsors and community partners.
Sponsoring Trick or Treat Bonita is more than supporting an event, it’s investing in the community and helping create lasting memories for local families. This event is about giving the kids of Bonita Springs the kind of Halloween experience every child deserve. Sponsorships like yours makes this event possible and helps us to continue building a fun, safe, and unforgettable tradition for our community.
